"We knew we were in for an experience once Cavetown's booming voice filled the theater. Cavetown took the stage promptly at 9:30 pm. He finally walked off stage at 12:30, and we had hoped that he would play until at least 11pm, which is the norm for concerts in Detroit. Even a bit of Skynard, Cavetown played several of his own songs from all of his albums and covered greats like Waylon, Willie, Coe, Alabama, Seger, and may have played longer, but we had to leave so we don't know how many encores followed. It was the third time I've seen him live, and each time he is better than the last!"
